Michelle and Lane Mimmack

A gorgeous September day for a wedding.

Here...
comes....
the BRIDE...

Michelle and I met once at the studio and I knew from our meeting that this was to be a very special day.
She had a notebook filled with ideas and photos and possibilities.
We continued our communication through the computer up to her wedding day.
You just have to love technology!

White roses for family and friends.

Floral crowns made of Italian Ruscus, Wax Flower and Lisianthus.

Sugar and spice and everything nice...

Headed to the reception at the Fair Hills Resort on Pelican Lake.

Beautiful...

“You've got this life and while you've got it, you'd better kiss like you only have one moment,
try to hold someone's hand like you will never get another chance to,
look into people's eyes like they're the last you'll ever see,
watch someone sleeping like there's no time left,
jump if you feel like jumping, run if you feel like running,
play music in your head when there is none,
and eat cake like it's the only one left in the world!”
― C. JoyBell C.

Italian Ruscus, Garden Roses & Jasmine for the cake.

Pink and Red Garden Roses, Permanent White Peonies, Pepperberry, Jasmine, and Italian Ruscus.

Thank you Michelle for trusting me with your flowers.
Wishing you the best that life has to offer.

A Different Kind of Snow

Oh, the possibilities.

....and heaven and nature sing.

Winter is Here!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

My suppliers tell me that because of the drought in California, no dried cedar is available.
The juniper in this arrangement is a nice alternative along with the snowberries,
dried grass and preserved red roses.

Stay warm!

Joy and Thanksgiving

As Thanksgiving sweeps in,
spend some time reflecting on
"All that you have to be grateful for."
Reflect on what brings you JOY...

I do this, for the joy that it brings...

Changing Seasons

Fall continues here in Minnesota with unusually warm temperatures.
It only seems natural to dabble with dried floral elements
with beautiful colors and textures.

I stumbled across this vacant Robin's nest a few weeks ago
laying amid my Hosta plants with a cracked blue egg inside.

What a pleasant surprise....
and a treasure to put in my studio.

Enjoy the abundance of beauty around you!

Fun Metal

I stumbled across two fun metal containers
while wandering through a Thrift Store on Sunday.
Rustic metal with a bit of rust.

What's that you say?
"Buy me - buy me."

The metal roses were icing on the cake.

Autumn...

Falling, dancing leaves covering the ground.
Vivid color abounds.

Step outside...
take in the beauty.
Thank Him.
