Wandering

I saw a quote the other day that made me stop and think.
"Not all who wander are lost."
Wow... Isn't that the truth!?

The ingredients to this bouquet are from leftovers from a wedding
and what I could gather while WANDERING around the yard.
I like to wander...

Vibernum

I am in awe of how well the Vibernum shrubs are doing this year!

Genesis 1:11-12
And God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants  yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth." And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind.  And God saw that it was good....

Katrina and Vince

I am in love with the first wedding of the year!

This was an unexpected opportunity that brought me so much happiness.

You'll see by the use of color that this bride wanted JOY in her special day!

Thank you to Brittney Eischens Photography!  You are truly GIFTED.

 Love...

Much happiness to you both!  Have a beautiful life...

Celebration of Life

Flowers are an essential part of funerals and memorial services,
providing beautiful, visual relief when emotions run high.

Flowers can provide a graceful way to express love and emotions...

Isaiah 43:2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze."

Happy Holidays

There is nothing better than the smell of pine on a cold winter day.
A bit of greenery, pine cones, and berries to start off the holidays.

The containers I used were wide at the top
so I made a grid using green floral waterproof tape.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Megan and Luke

Megan had such a clear vision for her wedding.
This is such a blessing for a florist.
The words she used to describe what she envisioned her wedding to be were...

Happy
Traditional
Quiet
Low Key
Classy

Her colors were midnight blue, gray and taupe/cream.

When I was putting her bouquet together, my vision was blurred by my own tears.
She included her grandmother's pearls and on the handle there was a small bunch of white feathers
and a small charm.  The family business involves turkeys which I can only assume is why the white feathers were included and the charm..... I can only guess.
I love that she was so thoughtful in her decisions.

Eucalyptus garlands were hung from candelabras at the church.
The smell was incredible.....

SO HAPPY!!!

Tanya Kay Photography took these beautiful photographs!!!

Congratulations you two!
It was a pleasure working with you...
